This is an image of a RISC OS boot SD for the Raspberry Pi, suitable for writing to a real SD card using a utility such as dd (macOS/Linux) Win32DiskImager (Windows) or CloneDisc (RISC OS).
A microSD card of at least 2GB capacity is required. If you use a larger SD card (8GB, 16GB etc.) only the first 2GB will be usable by RISC OS.
This software is suitable for models of Raspberry Pi up to and including the Pi 3A+ and 3B+, and for all Compute Modules up to the CM3+. While it will load on a Pi 4B, there are some issues1.
Please note this is beta test software, and may contain significant bugs. It is NOT a stable release.
To download this software, visit the Downloads page and click on RISC OS Pi RC16.
1 On the Pi 4, the main USB ports are non-functional. To use USB on the Pi 4, connect a hub to the USB-C (power entry) port. You may have to provide power by another means (e.g. via the GPIO pins).
In addition to the standard HardDisc4 contents, the RISC OS Pi image also includes:
Applications
Diversions
Documents
Utilities
Other (included in !Boot)
If you are new to RISC OS you should first read Introduction to RISC OS.
