DeskFS is no longer used. The following information is for reference only, and should not be used.

DeskFS was the ROM based filing system that provided system resources for the Desktop in RISC OS 2. It is no longer used nor available from RISC OS 3 and beyond.

The Desktop used the system variable Wimp$Path to reference these system resources; by default its value was DeskFS:, although it was possible to change this.

A single *command was provided by the DeskFS filing system: *DeskFS. It is no longer used.
