This *Command sets the configured language used at power-on.
*Configure Language module_number
module_number | Number of module to be run at power-on |
The unusual word ‘Language’ for this command is for backwards compatibility with earlier versions of the Operating Systems.
The default value is the desktop.
The module_number is specified by the number returned by *Modules command. Numbers may differ depending on versions of the Operating System, and whether modules have been added or removed.
If a machine is configured to go to the desktop, and to run a file using *Exec, it will not enter the desktop. A machine must be configured as one or the other, but not both. This is because the desktop module checks on entry if a file is being run using *Exec, and if so, exits.
