This *Command allows for various options relating to red/blue swapping of the display to be specified.
*Configure NVidia [-device <pcidevno>] -auto | -manual [-swap8bpp] [-swap16bpp] [-swap32bpp] [-alt16bpp]
-device <pcidevno> | PCI device number to configure (as per *PCIDevices) |
If omitted, configuration settings will be applied to all cards recognised by the driver | |
-auto | Enable automatic configuration (default) |
-manual | Enable manual configuration. The following options become available: |
-swap8bpp | Red-blue swap 8bpp modes |
-swap16bpp | Red-blue swap 16bpp modes |
-swap32bpp | Red-blue swap 32bpp modes |
-alt16bpp | Alternate red-blue swapping of mouse and gamma table in 16bpp modes |
Some options only affect the configuration of the hardware, while other options will affect the configuration of the OS (e.g. whether the “LTRGB” screen modes introduced in RISC OS 5.21 are used). Additionally, many machines use graphics cards which have had the red and blue lines swapped over on the VGA connector. This means that if your display is incorrect in some colour depths, some experimentation may be required in order to find the settings that work best for your machine and the software you use.
