Added | Removed | Changed
Entry | |
---|---|
R0 | 19 (&11) |
R1 | Event reason code |
R2 | Depends on reason code |
R3 | Depends on reason code |
This event is raised by the Internet module.
Code | Meaning |
---|---|
1 | A socket has bytes waiting to be read (UDP, TCP) or has successfully sent some data, freeing up space in its transmit buffer (TCP), or a new client is attempting to connect to a listen socket (TCP) (R2 = socket, R3 = port) |
2 | An urgent event, such as OOB data (R2 = socket, R3 = port) |
3 | Socket connection broken (R2 = socket, R3 = port) |
4 | RevARP reply (R2 = IPv4 replying server, R3 = IPv4 requesting station) |
5 | RevARP request pre Internet configuration (R2 = mbuf chain, R3 = interface SWI base) |
Events 1-3 are only dispatched for a particular socket if they have been enabled for that socket via the Socket_Ioctl FIOASYNC setting. As with any event, care must also be taken to ensure the event is enabled globally via OS_Byte 14.
Events 1-3 only pass the port number in R3 for Internet 5.04 and later.
