RISC OS 5.18 is released.

The first ‘bleeding edge’ pre-alpha ROM image for the Raspberry Pi is made available to users. USB is (mostly) working although the bottom 5% of the screen is blank.

RISC OS Open and Piccolo Systems announce the release of a general-purpose MMC/SD filing system for RISC OS, the SDFS.
18 Jun 2012:
The first pre-alpha distribution SD card image for the Raspberry Pi is made available to users with sufficient on the SD card for the RISC OS desktop to boot up using SDFS (and initially RAMFS as well) with working networking and visible iconbar. No external storage is required.
2 Jul 2012:
SDFS on the Pi now much improved, supporting a much wider range of cards and with faster access.
8 Aug 2012:
Alpha SD card image for Raspberry Pi frozen and handed over to ROOL for testing and further developemnt.

Merge the RPi branch with the HAL branch, ending RPi branch development.
