T1ToFont is a program that converts fonts from Adobe Type 1 format (also known as PostScript Type 1 format) to the RISC OS outline font format. Note that T1ToFont cannot process OpenType type 1 fonts (these are based on the Adobe Type 2 specification, not Adobe Type 1).
Historical aside: When RISC OS 3 was released in 1991, Adobe Type 1 fonts were a common sight. Nowadays you’ll have to hunt high and low to find any examples. This application is provided on the off-chance that you do have some Adobe Type 1 fonts to convert.
The application is usually installed in $.Utilities in the standard HardDisc4 archive.
