Accessing the command line

New task

TaskMngr00

To start a new task, either press Menu over the Task manager icon on the icon bar to display this menu:

CmndLine00

from which click Task window, or type Ctrl-F12. This produces a window in which you can type start commands. If a command causes a task that is not a desktop application to run, output from the task will be displayed in a new window, and other tasks will be suspended until this task is completed.
